So, I was just browsing YouTube the other night and discovered something new... I know, right? Anyway, I've discovered new music; a new (to me) musician who happens to be Asian. The guy's name is Stevie Hoang. No, he's not Vietnamese; he's actually Chinese. He was born and raised in the UK, but his family were originally from Vietnam. And that's how he got the last name, "Hoang".
Stevie was signed by Mercury Records in the UK. He has three of albums out right now. The most recent one was released in 2011 entitled "Unsigned". The one before that was released in 2009 called "All Night Long". And, finally, the first one called "This Is Me" which was released in 2008.
Unlike many albums I've listened to in the past (Jay Z, Beyonce, James Blunt, Christ Brown, Usher, Brandy, etc), most of Stevie's songs are REALLY good. Even the songs in his old albums are REALLY good. If you like pop and R&B music, you will love this guy. Trust me on that.
Even though this guy was signed by Mercury in the UK, he is still very unpopular in the US and other countries at the moment. So, please get to know him and tell your friends all about him because he is just getting started!
