STEVE JOBS (1955-2011)

Like most peope, Steve Jobs had a vision of the future... However, unlike most people, Steve Jobs gave his all to a company that he co-founded: Apple, Inc.

Apple was not the only company that Steve has guided into success. If you've seen Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Wall-e, or Up, you've seen a movie that was animated by his other successful company, Pixar. Disney partnered up with Pixar to develop those movies and several more which resulted as a #1 hit each at the box office during opening weekend. (Wall-e is my favorite.)

From eMac to iMac to iPod to Macbook Air to iPhone to iPad, Steve's revolutionary vision of impossible devices came true. Since his days at NeXT, Inc., he loves to experiment with new technology. The iPod, iPhone, and iPad would probably have never existed if it wasn't for him. To everyone has ever own one of these cool devices, it is time to take a moment and thank him for his innovative ways.

I think it’s brought the world a lot closer together, and will continue to do that. There are downsides to everything; there are unintended consequences to everything. The most corrosive piece of technology that I’ve ever seen is called television — but then, again, television, at its best, is magnificent.” - Steve Jobs
